THE IOTA HONOUR ROLL AND ANNUAL LISTING |
|
D.1 |
WHAT THESE ARE(D.1.1) The Honour Roll lists the callsigns of stations who have a checked score which equals or exceeds 50% of the activated islands/groups at the time of preparation. It is published early each summer in Radio Communication, the official journal of the RSGB, and in the DX News Sheet. (D.1.2) The Annual Listing, published at the same time, lists the callsigns of stations who have a checked score of 100 or more islands but less than the qualifying threshold for entry into the Honour Roll. |
|
D.2 |
WHAT THE PROCEDURE IS FOR INCLUSION(D.2.1) You may update your record ONCE in any 12-month period. Your new score will be listed automatically in the next Honour Roll/Annual Listing (note annual February deadline in paragraph D.2.5). (D.2.2) You may apply for one or more certificates at any time and such requests, whether or not accompanied by QSL cards, are to be treated as additional to your annual update entitlement. Any change to your score is included automatically in the next listings (note annual February deadline in paragraph D.2.5). (D.2.3) If you remain active in IOTA, you are encouraged to update at least once every three years. This gives the listings greater relevance and helps to maintain the interest of other participants in their comparative positions. However, your record is maintained on computer until such time as you choose to make a submission. (D.2.4) Prepare your update in the same way as when applying for the IOTA-100 Islands certificate (see Sections C.5 and C.6 above). (D.2.5) Mail it on or before 1 February to your Checkpoint. Updates postmarked after that date will be processed in the normal way but the scores will be held over to the following year's Honour Roll/Annual Listing. (D.2.6) Keep your update as simple as possible to process as Honour Roll/Annual Listing time is a period of heavy work pressure for the Checkpoints. This means a minimum of questions at this time please. (D.2.7) Retain a copy of your update to amend your own record when you receive notification that your cards have been credited to your score. See paragraph C.5.11 about the provision of Record Sheets. |
