RSGB IOTA Committee

Overseeing the RSGB Islands on the Air Award Scheme

The IOTA Committee deals with the strategic and technical issues relating to the Society's major international award programme - Islands On The Air. A list of committee members can be found in the IOTA Rules.

Formed in 1996, the IOTAC took over the work previously done by a sub-group of the RSGB HF Committee. The Chairman is Martin Atherton, G3ZAY, and the IOTA Manager is Roger Balister, G3KMA, who has spearheaded the IOTA programme on behalf of the RSGB for more than ten years. A bi-monthly 'IOTA' column is written for RadCom by Neville Cheadle, G3NUG.
